God led my wife Lisa and I to start GCBC with a small group of people in 2004. We have been together ever since that time - loving, growing and reaching out to our community and around the world. As the pastor my primary responsibility is to preach/teach - this is the passion of my ministry. I also have the high privilege of serving with a great leadership team of staff, elders and deacon. I love GCBC! I am originally from Dayton, Ohio.  I attended Cedarville University and have served as a youth pastor, associate pastor before being led to preach. I have lived in Venice for 27 years. I am blessed to be married to Lisa now for 37 years. God has blessed us with two wonderful children and nine grandchildren.

My family and I have been at GCBC since 2010. I am responsible for teaching and leading the ministry to families, kids (birth to 12th grade), and their parents. I grew up in Venice from 7 years old through High School. I met my wife Sarah at Venice High School.  We got married in 2000 and now we have 3 kids. We both went to UCF, and I received my degree in Secondary Social Science Education. After this, we went to Texas to a discipleship program called Young Guns at Denton Bible Church under Tom Nelson. When I returned to Venice, I taught 7th grade at Venice Middle School before becoming a Youth Pastor, and I have been living out that calling in this town since 2005. I love raising our kids in this town and being a part of this church. Thanks for checking out my story!

Although I was born in Ohio I was raised most of my life in Venice, I’m still a Buckeye at heart though! I have been at GCBC since it’s first meeting. While in high school I met Melissa, my wife today, at the part time job we worked at together. We both went to Florida Gulf Coast University together where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. We were married in 2012 and have been blessed with four children, Savannah, Ezra, Fletcher, and Claire. I studied at Dallas Theological Seminary and graduated with a Masters Degree in Theological and Biblical Studies. I love this church and feel blessed beyond words to be the associate pastor for community. I look forward to serving this church and seeing many lives saved and developed into followers of Christ. 

I am a Florida native, raised in the Venice/Englewood area and have been attending Grace since 2011. I am the Family Ministries Administrator and my job is to assist the Family Pastor with children, and students from Birth through 12th grade. In 2010, I moved out to Denton Texas and attended Denton Bible’s Women’s Discipleship Program where I learned the value of walking dependently with Christ. I love all things glitter, coffee and Jesus, and you’ll often find me with a group of Middle School or High School girls hiding in my office with a bunch of chocolate! Come on over and join us!

I am from Jacksonville, Florida, and met my husband, Lee, during my sophomore year at the University of Central Florida. We graduated together in 2004 and we were married in 2005.  Lee is a Venice native and we moved back in 2006. We have two daughters, Olivia and Lila. We have been beyond blessed by being a part of GCBC since 2011. I am passionate about glorifying the Lord and reflecting the life of Jesus by serving others. It is an honor and a privilege to serve the Body of Christ by being entrusted with the church finances and to ensure its faithful stewardship.

I was born in Michigan, have also lived in Indiana and New York, but most of my life has been here in Florida.  I met my Florida-born husband right after high school, but it wasn’t until 8 years later that we started dating!  We were married in 2006 and have been blessed with 3 beautiful children, Autumn, Carina, and Jesse.  While pregnant with Carina, we found out that she had a rare form of dwarfism and she is now snuggling with Jesus.  Through that hard time, GCBC and all its staff members surrounded me and my family.  Without their love, and our faith in Jesus, we wouldn’t have made it through.  I love this church and I am proud and honored to now be a part of this amazing staff.  I pray God will continue to use me in this ministry to bring honor and glory to His name!

I have been married to Tony Plummer for 36 years!  I have been on staff at GCBC since 2011.  We have 2 children  (Ashley & Jonathan) and a wonderful daughter-in-law (Missy) and a wonderful son-in-law (Joel).  We have been blessed with 5 grandchildren (Benjamin, Savannah, Molly, Ezra & Fletcher).  I am blessed beyond measure to be a part of such a great church family and count it a privilege to be on staff and to use the gifts that God has given me.

I'm originally from Ohio, but Florida has been my home since I was 9 years old.  I went to Florida Gulf Coast University where I obtained  my Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree.  After I graduated, I went on a medical mission trip to Southern California where I met my wife, Selah.  My wife and I are both Registered Nurses at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.  We are blessed with two little girls, named Elsie and Isla. I do photography/videography on the side as a hobby and felt super honored to be asked to be the Media Director for this church. Super excited to serve this Church and help spread the Gospel via Media.   

I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a Communications degree, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dream of working in the entertainment industry. Although I loved my time there, God called me out of Hollywood and back to Florida.  Soon after, I reconnected with a high school friend and married him less than 2 years later! My husband's job moved us to Venice, Florida in 2021 and I couldn't be more thankful for the community God led us to. I'm also honored to sing on the worship team and I'm blessed to be a part of the GCBC family.  

I have called GCBC my home church for 8 years and have served almost from the time I arrived. My wife Jennie and I are both from Indiana and love serving the Lord. God Blessed me with knowledge in all thing’s audio and stage production. I handle the technical side of worship and events. My knowledge doesn’t stop at the stage as I am involved in many other areas in the church.
